Itinerary and (Optional) Programme 2005

Day 1 - Friday
11.45 am Our Turkish Airlines flight takes off from London Heathrow airport, terminal three.
5.30 pm (Local time) We land at Istanbul where our local guide and coach to take us to our hotel. Then get dinner in one of local restaurant. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 2 - Saturday
Depart early morning to take a Fast Ferry to across the Marmara Sea, if the weather convenience, or drive to the Church of Pergamum (Acts 2:12-17). Then Explore to Acropolis, which got into a group like several terraces around the big theatre. Dinner, bed and breakfast in our Ayvalik beach town hotel.

Day 3 - Sunday 
Drive to Thyatira Church, which is one of the Seven Churches (Revelations.1.11; 2:18-29) St Paul may have visited here in his missionary journeys (Acts 19:10).
Then Visit to Sardis Church berated by John the Prophet for its facade of strength when, in reality, it was weak (Revelations. 3:1-6). We will explore the massive scale of the Temple of Artemis and the white marble royal road, the gymnasium & the synagogue. Dinner, bed & breakfast in our Pamukkale hotel.

Day 4 - Monday
Today drive to Laodicea. one of the Seven Churches (rev 3:14-22),were chastised for being lukewarm, ”you are neither cold nor hot” (Rev. 3:14). Also this area is so comfortable incorporating pagan and Christian beliefs. In the famous scripture from Revelation (3:20-21), Jesus says to the Laodicean church: “Behold, I stand at the door,. The next stop is made in Philadelphia Church (Rev. 3:7-13) referred to as the New Jerusalem. Dinner, bed and breakfast in our Kusadasi hotel.

Day 5 - Tuesday
Today explore the Ephesus one of the Seven Churches in Revelation (Rev. 1:11). Once populated with three hundred thousand people, it has an enormous Amphitheatre, which can still hold twenty four thousand spectators. As we walk down the marble covered streets, we see gymnasiums, baths houses, public latrines, the library of Celsus, and the Temple of Artemis. Then explore the Virgin Mary House and Sixth Century Church of St. John. Dinner, bed and breakfast in our Kusadasi hotel.

Day 6 - Wednesday
After breakfast drive to Smyrna and discover the Church of St. Policarp the oldest church in ancient Smyrna and symbolised the communities of the Seven Churches of the Apocalypse.
Then drive to Bergama to take a Fast Ferry to across the Marmara Sea, if the weather convenience. Dinner, bed and breakfast in our Istanbul hotel.

Day 7 - Thursday
Today explore the Chora Church with its amazing frescos and then visit the Basilica of St. Sophia, which has Inspired architects and religious leaders for over fifteen hundred years. Constructed in 326 by Constantine the Great, It has been a cathedral , a mosque, and now a museum. In the afternoon take a Cruise on Istanbul Bosphorus and Dinner, bed and breakfast in our Istanbul hotel.

Day 8 - Friday 19th September
Morning at leisure for shopping.
7.10 pm  Our flight takes off from Isatbul.
9.15 pm  (UK time) We land at London Heathrow Airport.
