Parish Pilgrimages |
Parish Pilgrimages Has your parish planned a Pilgrimage for 2004/5? A Mass of preparation collecting petitions, followed by a social and a talk on Lourdes, fund raising events to help send a handicapped parishioner, Mass in the parish to coincide with a Mass in Lourdes, a thanksgiving Mass and reunion afterwards. We will be pleased to give you all the help needed for such a project and we will be pleased to come and see you to discuss arrangements. For group bookings handled by one person, we can give one FREE PLACE in twenty. In addition, if the priest with your group will look after other pilgrims with us, leading the Pilgrimage shown in this brochure, he will also travel at our expense. (For Pilgrimages to the Holy Land it is one free in ten but the first place must be for the Priest Leader.) On coach pilgrimages, we can arrange special itineraries and prices and if you have 20 or more pilgrims the coach can start from your own parish church.
Special
& Friendly Parish Groups We
think your Parish group and your Parish Pilgrimage is very
special. You will have your own programme, you will lead, or be led by
your own Priest. You will be looked after by your own St. Peter’s
Representative. There will probably be around fifty to sixty Pilgrims in the
group so there will be a good chance to get to know many of them if you wish.
Some might be from one particular parish. Other individuals and families will be
from any where in the world! Most of course will come from the British Isles,
but many also from Ireland, Australia, America, India and many other countries.
However the group is made up, you will be that special group with individual
attention. The group will be small enough for each Pilgrim to
have the opportunity of making their own special contribution to the
success of the Pilgrimage. If you
are part of a parish group and the parish prefers
to remain on it’s own we can arrange that.
Parish Film Shows We would be very pleased to come to your parish meeting and give a talk, answer questions and show a large screen video on most of our Pilgrimage destinations. There is no charge. We regret we can not make more than a 200 mile journey.
Tailor made Pilgrimages We are pleased to tailor make & cost a Pilgrimage for your group, however you will be responsible for achieving the numbers you asked us to cost on. If this is impossible you will have to decide whether you will cancel the Pilgrimage or pay an “empty place charge” which we will give you with the original costing. If you are unsure of your support it may be better to choose a Pilgrimage from this brochure where there will be other Pilgrims to make up the numbers.
