Less able Pilgrims All our Pilgrimages are geared to the average able bodied Pilgrim & we aim to make it possible for them to do and see as much as possible. We have included as much detail as possible, about transport, accommodation and programmes. You must judge which are suitable for you. If you need any help or would like to discuss your Pilgrimage please give us a ring. If our arrangements are just not suitable it may be that we could put you in touch with a specialised group.
All invalids should have their doctor's agreement to travel and must be accompanied. Give us as much information about your condition and level of mobility as you can on the booking form and that will enable us to notify the airline/coach operator and airports in order that they can give you all the help necessary.
Like Lourdes, Fatima caters very much for the sick and less-able however less able Pilgrims may find the other Pilgrimage destinations more difficult and should consult us before booking.
Wheelchairs Available We have wheelchairs & buggies which have been very kindly donated for our less-able & elderly especially for Pilgrims going to Fatima. If you would like to borrow one let us know on the booking form. If you prefer to bring your own chair or buggy it will be transported free of charge and will not count against your luggage allowance but please tell us on your booking form.
Medical Care We regret, St. Peters Pilgrims can not provide medical care or medical services of any kind. We welcome the less able especially on Fatima Pilgrimages but they must be accompanied by their carer(s). Of course there is a good general hospital in Fatima and each hotel has it's "house GP". The cost should be covered by your insurance.
